Beyond the Grave

Every man since Adam has a life beyond the grave,

God has planted Eternity in everybody’s heart,

Annihilation has never been an option for mankind,

Eternity is the ultimate, every person must take part.

God hates the sin that caused Adam to fall,

But in His love provided a way of escape:

God so loved the world He gave His Only Son,

To pay the price for sin and restore our lost estate.

Jesus Christ is the only One Who was born to pay for sin,

The only Name by which salvation is given,

He is the only Way, the Truth, and the Life,

Through which any can find a way into heaven.

No matter what religion or belief a man has,

Repentance for sin, is the only way,

Forgiveness before God is the Way through Christ,

The only Name given for our sin to pay.

We shall all enter Eternity, with God, or without Him,

If we repent of our sin, we’ve a wonderful future to begin,

But if we don’t repent, we must pay for our own sin without Him,

A Christless Eternity is then the consequence of sin.

If we won’t forgive our brother, whom we feel has caused offence,

We shall find no forgiveness from God,

We can plead all the good works of charity we’ve done,

But “I never knew you!” we shall hear from above.

But forgiveness from God gives us an Eternity secure,

The Cross of Christ, the only way – paid for by Christ’s Blood,

He paid the price for the whole of mankind’s sin,

And opens a way for a glorious future! Our God is so good!

What a wonderful promise of love, joy and peace!

In an endless Eternity, God’s purposes fulfilling,

To the Garden of Eden, communing with our Creator,

Who has created us for a rapturous, new beginning –

With His Majesty!  All glorious!  – “God Only Wise!”

Just what He has awaiting us, we cannot conceive,

This God of Eternity, in His endless Infinity’s, prepared

The wonders of His Kingdom, for us that believe!
